Genevive is a skilled communications professional with over seven years of progressive experience in corporate and crisis communications, media relations and event management. She develops targeted and integrated communication programs to help organizations strengthen their profile and reputation to achieve business goals. Her range of experience includes working on the agency and client side with leading global and national organizations including financial firms, food and beverage companies, retail and luxury goods, and healthcare organizations.
Genevive currently works as a Senior Development and Partnership Marketing Officer for UNICEF Canada, working primarily on the development and execution of marketing and communication strategies for UNICEF’s global and national corporate partners to further organizational fundraising and brand awareness initiatives.
For the past three years, Genevive has also been an active supporter of Nyota Home in Kenya and currently sits on the organizing committee for Nyota’s annual Art Auction. The Art Auction raises funds to help Nyota provide a loving home and education to abandoned and orphaned children in Kenya.
In her spare time, Genevive loves to travel and has embarked on many adventures. She has taught English in Italy, worked with disadvantaged children in Africa, and worked and studied abroad in Australia.
Genevive holds a Masters degree in Communications from the University of Western Sydney and an Honours Bachelor of Science from the University of Toronto.
