She began her publishing career in New York City at Harper’s Bazaar, (“Nothing teaches you how to work harder than knowing there are thousands vying for your job!”) and has held titles at various women’s brands in both Canada and the US. ÒI have loved magazines for as long as I can remember,Ó she says. ÒThey provided an escape to a world that I longed to be a part of.Ó
Her first job was pumping gas at her best friend’s dad’s gas station in southern Ontario. She spent the rest of her teen years teaching swimming lessons and lifeguarding at a beach in the same small town she and her husband, Jay, eventually returned to with their daughter, Milla, twin boys, Wyatt and Theo, and third son, Beckett.
