Currently, Lisa leads a team of communicators who inspire, inform and engage employees across the organization through insightful content via the company intranet, clear directives through the company’s task management platform along with day-to-day communications support and service to mobilize the company’s field teams.

Lisa joined the Indigo team in 2007 as marketing lead on the launch of Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows, the seventh and final book in the famed boy-wizard series. For more than five years, she was a key contributor to the development and implementation of Indigo Books & Music Inc.’s public relations strategies, including acting as credible company spokesperson when required. Prior to Indigo, Lisa spent more than a decade working with world-class brands like Skechers Footwear and The Body Shop Canada. Creativity combined with curiosity fuel Lisa’s accomplished ability to develop insightful strategic plans and deliver innovative cost-effective communication solutions. From enterprise initiatives to product launches, Lisa applies her communications expertise to help enable Indigo’s commitment to providing booklovers and those they care about with the most inspiring retail and online environments for books and life enriching products and services.

Lisa holds an Honours Bachelor of Arts in Semiotics and Film from the University of Toronto and loves storytelling in all its forms including books, film, music and art.
